From the Author
This book is a little different in that I based the character, though not the story on one of my GR friends who has a personality that I find quite enticing. By that I mean that she has an alter ego that she refers to by a different name, a far wilder person that inhabits her head at times. I also wanted, or have wanted to write of a girl below the age of consent who has an affair with an older man. Not possible under Amazon's guidelines, such as we have to presume to know, so compromise dictated how this story would go.
I found it easy to write in fact 10 days was all it took, because most of the scenarios were already implanted in my head. I found that using first POV worked really well, in fact, and basing the story in the south added a lot of new perspective, dialogue wise to the story as well as allowing me to see the world from a younger girl's perspective. We men sometimes forget that women have desires and feelings too. That sex is a huge part of a woman's makeup and that men aren't the only ones that need it constantly to fulfil their lives.
