My Kindle consists of everything from fantasy to bdsm to dark to "normal". This vanilla, no-sex-until-marriage series is pretty refreshing in the mix.Port Townsend local Kelsey starts her 1st year of law school and from there we go. Among the main characters are roommate Jessica from NYC, Ryan and Tyler, both billionaires, and the oh so charming Zachary, all from Seattle. We follow them and a bunch of others through their hardship that is law school, and the ups and downs in life.A few things stood out to me:First of all, I learned A LOT about the legal world, which was great.Cara Miller really has a way with charming minutiae, although at times it can get tedious and drag the story along very slowly. The way she does it though is in a way I haven't read before.Being from Scandinavia I'm not a hundred percent sure but I assume you start law school at 22 in the US, which makes you a grown up by legal standards. Now I don't know how conservative Miller is but the parents of the adult characters in these books are butting in a bit too much for my Scandinavian liking. This might be the norm in the USA though, so I'm not taking stars off for that.All in all a read worthy series, not in the least because of the secondary "education".ââââ
Billionaire Boys Club in New York: Billionaire Romance Series Book 3 is by Cara Miller. This book takes us to New York City and a visit on Spring Break. Jessica comes from a very strict family. To be able to see the sights in New York City with Tyler and Ryan, she is forced to lie to her parents. This also means that Kelsey is too as she is staying with them. This does not set well with either girl; but they wanted to see New York on their terms. This has all the makings of a fiasco. What will happen? How will their seeing the sights with the boys go. Will the boys get their way of paying for everything or will the girls thwart them. The girls are not happy with the goys paying. It doesn’t matter that they are billionaires.
This is an ongoing saga...when I started book 1,it was worth it to continue on. I assumed that by book 3,the story would wrap up and the series would move to the stories of the other characters. In looking at other previews, there are 17 books with a cliff hanger into am upcoming book 18. No thanks. I think I'm baling or quits!!!
Sometimes less is more. Sure, there could be a lot of sex and emotion in this series, but it's nice to see a cute, wholesome, love store once in a while. I enjoy a great book with lasting friendships, and I can see this book with all the characters all with lasting friendships, no matter what happens. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and look forward to book 4!!!
I have nineteen of these books so far and I regret starting these books. I'm not a quitter so I keep spending $$ for these NOVELLAS. I love the characters but these books are more tame than Twilight.
